Dirty Pretty Things is a designer lingerie boutique with a hint of burlesque and a twist of old fashioned glamour.

Conversant Studios was contracted to produce the front-end code and content management system and in quick time. We used Wordpress to turn the site around in a few days and to provide the crew at Dirty Pretty Things a content management system to allow them to manage the inventory across the site.

Requirements gathering and persona development

Once we had gathered all the raw data available (traffic logs, customer demographics and customer surveys) we compiled some personas to define the key market segments that the site would target.

Gaia Organic Cotton exists in a very competitive market so the look and feel of the website needed to reflect the beauty and simplicity of the products. It was also important that the website complied with web standards to ensure that it was findable by all the major search engines.
