The Harbour Agency provides the very best Australian talent for hotels, clubs, festivals, private functions and major outdoor and industry calendar events through out metropolitan and regional Australia.

The Harbour Agency had a legacy website that was difficult to maintain and did not showcase their diverse roster of artists. Conversant Studios was contracted to build a new website that solved both of these problems and quickly.

Using Textpattern to provide the framework, we were able to produce a website in a very short space of time that answered both of these requirements . The crew at The Harbour Agency have been maintaining the site since June ‘06.

Scout TV is breathing new life to the Sydney music scene, highlighting acts regardless of genre. It hopes energetic and honest performances will confirm Scout as the authentic, underground music show to challenge the networks’ traditional offerings.

Design and development

The brief for this site was to establish an independent music look and feel while providing a portal to deliver the rich content following the screening of the shows on television.

Built on a tight budget, the site uses Wordpress to manage all the content across the site.

Shoreshocked is an annual youth music festival on the north side of Sydney.

Conversant Studios was contracted to take the flat Photoshop files and code the 2005 version of the site. As it was a pro-bono project, we decided to use Textpattern to manage all the content across the site.

Barrie Heidenrech at Forte Productions was my very first customer. A stalwart of the entertainment industry, Barrie manages some of Australia’s most famous faces.

Barrie contracted Conversant Studios to build a site that showcased the wide range of talent he managed from musicians to jugglers and kids performers to living statues. We produced a site in line with Barrie’s existing branding that we have been maintaining since 2002.
